Side One of the Waltz
The waltz is a lovely dance it is one of the most enjoyable ballroom dances to learn. The
basic or box step is where we all start as beginners but you will soon become familiar with
the Whisk, Chasse and Natural Spin Turn as you progress over the weeks.
The Waltz is a very popular social and wedding dance and is a superb dance for Newlyweds
first dance at their wedding.

Cha Cha Cha
The Cha Cha Cha is fun and energetic dance. It has an upbeat rhythm that features quick
steps. The Cha Cha Cha begins with the forward and back basics and then builds into one of
the most enjoyable Latin dances to learn.

BJM Dance hosted by Brian & Janet McLachlan welcomes all to come along and learn to dance in a fun and friendly atmosphere at Cumnock Town Hall every Thursday evening at 7pm. Regardless of whether you have never
danced before or would just like to improve your dancing. Learning to dance is a fun activity that everyone can enjoy so come along and make a start just one step at a time. Muster the courage to try something new it is never
too late to learn to dance.
We teach our Ballroom and Latin American dance classes in a relaxed and enjoyable down to earth manner and they are ideally suited to the new beginners as well as the more proficient pupil. We realise that what contributes
to enjoying an activity such as this, is a good light hearted social atmosphere, which is why we like to have fun at our classes. (Read our reviews just click the read more button)
If you have never danced before or you want to improve your dancing come along and join us. No
need to book in advance just turn up on the night for a fun filled evening.
